Be A Singular Sensation: National Capital Area Walk to End Alzheimer's

I had the pleasure of interviewing Mrs. Cindy Schelhorn - Senior Director of Communications and Marketing, for the National Capital Area Alzheimer's Association.  Not only is she an amazing woman with a beautiful spirit, she holds a wealth of knowledge on Alzheimer's and dementia.

With a small but mighty staff of roughly 20, and a plethora of dedicated volunteers (they are always looking for more), they provide resources for all of those impacted by the disease in Northern Virginia, the District of Columbia, and localities in Maryland.

During this episode, we discuss everything from the "Walk to End Alzheimer's,"Data," Funding," our hope for the "White Flower," and more!  Not only is Alzheimer's the "6th leading cause of death in the US, but it kills more than breast cancer and prostate cancer COMBINED!"

Please take a moment to view the episode, and learn about this disease.

Note: This episode is dedicated to my mother, whom I lost to Alzheimer's on March 11, 2016.  If you'd like to donate towards Alzheimer's research in her honor, please visit our fundraising page.

Thank you!
