I had the pleasure of interviewing Dr. D'Antonio of Northern Virginia Community College, Woodbridge Campus. He is one of the many members of a group that has come together to establish a forum that encourages dialogue between citizens and police in Prince William County, VA.
If you have ever had a concern about community/police relations, especially regarding getting pulled over by the police, you should plan to attend the "Safe Passage Home" event on March 25th, from 9am - noon at NVCC's Woodbridge Campus. The Prince William County Police Department will be present, and there will be interactive silulations, as we;; as round table discussions about ensuring a safe passage home for all!
This event is geared towards participants of all ages, but especially the youth and new drivers in an effort to improve the community/police relations in Prince William.
