Be A Singular Sensation: Interview with the Dale City Civic Association's Homeless Outreach Program
Be A Singular Sensation (Homeless in Dale City, VA) from Elizabeth Lockard on Vimeo.
Happy New Year!
In the latter part of 2014 I had the pleasure of sitting down with Mrs. Ashley Antley, and Ms Angela Hill, two of the "Sensations" from Dale City Civic Association's Homeless Outreach Program. (Mrs. Luci Cahi, and Ms Cheresse Peyton are the other half of their leadership). I had been following their work on social media for a few weeks, and have been moved by their work with citizens in the tent cities in the Dale City area.
Please watch this interview, and assist them with their efforts any way you can. Typically, they provide outreach services/donations on Saturdays, early in the afternoon. If you have items to donate, they would greatly appreciate it.
These ladies epitomize leadership in our community, and are truly a voice for the voiceless and most vulnerable. Please visit their facebook page to learn how you can support their efforts! Their team can also be reached via email at: dcca.homelessoutreach@gmail.com
Thank you ladies for your unwavering commitment for enhancing the lives of others in our community!
