Fall for the Book!

This week, "Be A Singular Sensation," had the pleasure of interviewing Mr. Rick Davis- Executive Director of the Hylton Performing Arts Center, to kick off our second season and shine a spotlight on one of the most anticipated community events in our area, "Fall for the Book!"

"Fall for the Book," began in 1999 as a result of the collaborative efforts of the Fairfax campus of George Mason University and Fairfax City, as a two day literary event.  Fifteen years later, it has grown to be a week-long regional event, celebrated a several venues in the DMV!
Host, Cydny A. Neville, and Rick Davis, Executive Director
of the Hylton Performing Arts Center.

On September 18th, Prince William County will celebrate Fall for the Book, at the HyltonPerforming Arts Center!  This will be the second annual event held in Prince William County!  Sponsored by Write By the Rails, the event will serve as the crossroads where delectable delights meet their literary accompaniment!

Participants should plan to arrive by 6:15, to take part in a food writing workshop presented by Mr. Jason Shriner, The Aubergine Chef!  Following the workshop, will be presentations, discussions, and samples to tantalize every palette featuring local authors and chefs!
As Mr. Davis mentions in our episode, the event is FREE to the public!  So bring your appetite, and celebrate Fall for the Book at the Hylton on September 18th!

PS- There is still time for you to get involved with this event!  To volunteer, please contact Write By the Rails.
